The Health Equity Assessment Toolkit (HEAT and HEAT Plus) is a software application that facilitates the assessment of health inequalities.

Inequalities can be assessed through disaggregated data and summary measures of health inequality, visualized in interactive graphs, maps and tables. Results can be exported and saved in different formats.

The toolkit is organized around two main components: Explore Inequality which enables the exploration of the situation of inequality in one setting of interest, and Compare Inequality, which enables benchmarking of the situation of inequality across settings.
